On the occasion of Sailor Day in Brazil (December 13), the Embassy of Brazil in Beirut and the Brazilian Navy, through the UNIFIL Maritime Task Force Command, held on Friday (11) the "Friend of the Navy" medal award ceremony and the opening of the poster exhibition entitled “Sailors: caring for people”. The poster exhibition is a result of graphic design contest on the same theme, aimed at fostering new talents in Lebanon and showcasing the human dimension of the naval force. The contest winners were Rita Khoury (1st place), Vincent El Khoury (2nd place) and Hiba Ahmad (3rd place). The exhibition will remain open until February 12th, 2016, at the Centre Culturel Brésil-Liban.
