On May 14, we held the "Spring Sarau" (Jam Session), which main characteristic is the gathering to celebrate cultural identity. The 'get together event' brought the 60 people to express themselves through music, painting, poetry and singing. A band composed by Brazilian musicians Bruno Rizzi: piano, vocals and guitar; Sam Sbaite; Hanen Halabi; Fayeda Hozada and the foreigners Pasquale Porccello: ukulele, guitar and vocals; Haian Arshied: violin were responsible for involving the audience with their songs; playing Bossa Nova, Samba, Brazilian popular music and Brazilian country music.
Inspired by the songs, the artist and also student of CCBL, Mari Joe Ayoub, painted a picture representing Brazilian woman and encouraged those present to actively participated of her activity.
The students Jacqueline Kachan and Samia Abou Ghanem, both of level 9, recited poems: "What are made the days of?" by Cecilia Meireles and "Sonnet of Fidelity" by VInicius de Moraes, respectively; accompanied by Brazilian flutist Denila Bueno.
